Thought of Simo, 2007:
I subscribe to Twitter? So everyone has the opportunity to know what I'm doing? No, thanks!
Thought of Simo, August 2008:
Almost almost subscribe to Twitter!
Series: you can always change your mind! ![]()
At the end I have written to Twitter, but Plurk, given the numerous complaints about the frequent down the service of chirping, and since there is a real migration from first to second.
But what Twitter and, in particular, what Plurk?
These are two different platforms microblogging, which is the most popular way to disseminate the internet via their cabbages.
But also to share with their friends link, video, photos and anything in almost instantaneous.
The substantive differences are not many: you sign up and send messages in different ways (from the browser, by phone, via email or via IM) and read those of their friends (in Twitter followers, friends in Plurk) or wishing to all registered users.
Things change with respect to graphics (of course) and how to display various messages while in Twitter are displayed in a vertical (the most recent on top, gradually lower the old ones), are in a Plurk timeline (time line) that runs from left to right, to offer the most recent messages first, writing in Western Europe.
Plurk also has a feature that, in my opinion, is pure "gazzosa", or karma. The karma is a kind of score that increases and decreases depending on the activity that takes place within the service (for example update your profile or add friends will increase the karma, while eliminating the decrease friends) and, as you reach different thresholds of scoring, will be released some functions (such as being able to choose a new "creature" that we represent, other gazzosa).
In conclusion, I think that both services are rather of the "toys", when used with a specific purpose (eg to know at any moment what we do to friends or relatives more or less distant). The frequent defaillances of Twitter I have chosen to join Plurk, which will use some right to disseminate information on more staff in my account, as if someone interested. ![]()
Someone says they are toys that give addiction, stay to see. Meanwhile, if you like, you can visit my page Plurk and "plurkare" with me.
Soon even add a widget, here and on simonlain mini. ![]()
